Preventive Manteinance of Pumps
The pump’s efficiency can be safeguarded by following the preventive maintenance schedule below.
The maintenance schedule depends on the type of job the pump is used for.
The operating cycle, the temperature and the quality of the pumped liquid, the type and quality of the supply, and the condition of the accessories used are all fundamental factors that influence the life of the pump’s parts. If the pump’s performance deteriorates, check our Troubleshooting guide for the source of the problem.
If no problem occurs, you should still check the pump after 800 hours of operation and then every 400 hours of operation.
We recommend replacing the suction and delivery valves at every second seal change.
The specific tool kit supplied by Leuco should be used for maintenance of Hawk® pumps, particularly for the replacement of seals. Always use original spare parts.
